Bolex-Paillard cameras are Swiss made and were often used to shoot documentaries and nature films.
The three lens turret makes this camera very eye-catching and evocative of the late 1950's and would make a great piece of home decor.

This Bolex Paillard D8L is an 8 mm three lens turret movie camera which was introduced in 1959. It had a polished duraluminum body covered with genuine Moroccan leather cover and chrome plated metal parts with manual threading and no loop forming. It accommodated 3 standard D mount lenses. The release button lied on the side of the  camera which also served as the cable release socket. This particular camera is in excellent condition and comes in the original case.
