$550.00

A finely worked tambour-beaded evening bag dating to circa 1925, featuring a striking Art Deco geometric design with stylised central motif and beaded fringe. Likely to be French, but also possibly of German origin. The dense beadwork is worked using the tambour hook technique, giving the bag a fluid, softly draped quality typical of the period. Finished with an ivorine frame and chain handle, this is a confident and decorative example of 1920s fashion accessories, reflecting the modernity and movement of the Jazz Age. Ideal as a collectible piece or display object.
